Caldera was founded in 2020 by hot sauce addicts Byron Roos-Collins and Augie Houlemard. The goal was simple: cook and sell high-quality hot sauce, without compromise. The two of us have spent the greater part of our professional careers working as guides on rivers and mountains. Our wilderness pursuits have taken us across the globe, and we are always searching for new flavors and hot foods. There is no shame in crying over a bowl of too-spicy noodles. Hot sauce is crucial to any solid outdoor endeavor (in our opinion), and so we set out to craft the perfect pepper sauce to bring on our excursions. Our signature habanero pepper sauce was born out of that goal. We hope you enjoy our sauce wherever your next adventure takes you.
